This will help them to manage inventory in a better way. Shipping through Vietnamese ports will help Walmart to enhance flexibility in sourcing. Also, lower tariff offered by Vietnam Government will foster an attractive trade environment. With this initiatives Walmart is aiming to become a formidable player in the logistic and supply chain space, rivalling services like Amazon’s Global Logistics.
